Monestir del Poble Espanyol

The Poble Espanyol ("Spanish Town") was built at the occasion of the Expo of Barcelona in 1929. It resumes the Spanish architecture, reproducing the most representative buildings of several towns.

The Romanesque Monastery is a sample of the Catalan religious architecture of the 10th - 12th previous to the Gothic style. The frescoes are one of the bestknown of this style. This church is one of the preferred wedding chapels among the couples of Barcelona, since decades.
