Château Saint Martin

The Romans built the first fortified stronghold on the estate. In 350 (AD), Saint Martin, bishop of Tours, visited the site, which was named after him.

In 1115, the Count of Provence handed over the estate to the Crusaders returning from Jerusalem. Local tradition has it that Saint Martin's Templars had hidden a treasure on the site before leaving their confraternity.

Built on the ruins of the former residence of the Knights of Templars, the Château, located between Cannes and Monaco, sits in 32,5 acres of beautiful parkland and rolling hillsides fragrant lavender and rosemary.

The restored nondenominational chapel, close to the Château-Hôtel, offers a unique setting for intimacy and regal splendour perfect to celebrate an unforgettable wedding day.
