Hotel Valldemossa

This old Mallorcan stone-built house, which is over 100 years old and has today been transformed into a luxury hotel, previously belonged to Valldemossa's old Carthusian monastery. It stands in the heart of a valley on top of a hill, with views of the Bay of Palma on one side and Tramuntana mountain range and monastery on the other. Set in a 7-hectare estate filled with olive trees, numerous pleasant walks can be taken, as well as hikes in the Teix and Fatima Mountains, following the same routes that the great composer Chopin and writer George Sand ( A Winter in Mallorca ) chose in their days.

The ceremony takes place in the terrace overlooking the village and the Charterhouse of Valldemossa.
